Martha Bengtson is a ProDoula certified birth doula serving the North Mississippi and Memphis areas. She has been learning and growing in knowledge of birthwork since 2019 and has developed a deep love for her profession and the families she serves. She used the ProDoula program to become certified in early 2023.
Martha acknowledges that birth is beautiful, however the new life comes into the world. She believes in the incredible strength of women to give birth using their instincts & intuition and looks to support and encourage that beautiful reality in each family she has the privilege to serve.

Kimathi D. Street Coleman has been married for 10 years and is the mother of two little girls and a boy. She is a doula who is passionate about breastfeeding. She was the organizer for Latch On Memphis for 4 years, and is a part of lots of breastfeeding support groups, including BSTARS and Shelby County Breastfeeding Coalition. Kimathi is also a Certified Lactation Counselor and Reaching Our Sisters Everywhere Community Transformer trained as a Breastfeeding Peer Counselor. She is very excited to serve moms in her community through prenatal support and education, labor support, and postpartum services. She has served over 50 families so far! I have always had a love for childbirth. I attended my first birth when I was just 17. After having five children of my own, and supporting many friends through their labors, I knew it was where I belonged.
I did my training with DONA in November 2010, and attended my first "official" birth in June of 2011. I attended a second training through BEST Doula training for doula and childbirth education in 2019. Even after the time that has passed, and the numerous births I've attended, I still LOVE birth, and strive for a positive, fulfilling birth for every client no matter what!

Grace Keilbach

I am originally from Indianapolis, IN. After earning my B.A. in Psychology, I moved to Germany with the Fulbright Program to teach English and ultimately stayed for ten years. During that time, I completed a yoga teacher training in the T.K.V. Desikachar tradition, and became certified in Systemic Counseling (systemische Beratung). I had the opportunity to work with children with attachment disorders and complex family situations, which deepened my understanding of how early support shapes lifelong well-being.
During my first pregnancy, I developed a deep interest in birth and early parenthood and realized I wanted to work with families at the very beginning of attachment formation—through pregnancy, birth, and the early postpartum period. I am especially committed to maternal mental health and to viewing each family as a dynamic system, honoring both individuals and their relationships.
I have two daughters, one of which was born in a birth center in Germany and the other was born at home in Germantown, TN. I enjoy reading, traveling, crocheting and various forms of movement. I am certified with ProDoula. I look forward to serving Memphis families!

Hi there! I’m a stay-at-home wife and mother of three, offering Birth Doula services in the Memphis and Jackson areas. Having experienced my own children being born, I’ve grown deeply passionate about the beauty of pregnancy and birth and the value of support during this time.
I’ve trained under a seasoned Birth Doula and Certified Educator, as well as received basic lactation education to provide help with initial breastfeeding, if desired. My services include personalized support throughout pregnancy; hands-on, in-person assistance during labor and birth; and continued support for 6 weeks postpartum.

I am a wife and mother of six children. After receiving my BA from Crichton College in 1998, I took time to start my precious family before beginning birth work.
My motivation in becoming a midwife and monitrice began with the personal desire to serve women and to enhance my own education of birth. I grew up surrounded by a family of loving, strong women and I saw how important it is to come alongside and support one another during life-changing moments. Pregnancy, childbirth and the bonding between mother and baby are some of the most transformational times in life. I believe strongly in the power and normalcy of birth, and I find incredible joy watching this miracle unfold with each family I serve.
I am a licensed midwife with Abundant Life Midwifery serving in Tennessee and Mississippi. As a midwife, I enjoy equipping families as they walk through the pregnancy, labor, delivery and postpartum care in the comfort of their own home.
My desire for each family is to serve alongside them as they choose their own birth experience. I want to equip each family with knowledge, confidence, techniques, education and support while we walk through this unique journey together.

Having experienced my own struggles with infertility and mild postpartum depression, I know firsthand the challenges that come with balancing physical and emotional health. My approach blends the best of Eastern and Western medicine, with a focus on natural solutions that help women feel empowered, supported, and nurtured during every phase.
I’m truly passionate about helping women who are struggling with infertility uncover the root cause, using a personalized approach that supports their unique needs. It’s incredibly rewarding to be part of their journey as they move closer to realizing their dream of motherhood.
I also offer holistic care to help women navigate pregnancy and postpartum with ease—from calming first trimester nausea and discomfort to managing postpartum emotional well-being, and more. My goal is to make each step of the journey as smooth and joyful as possible—because every woman deserves to feel amazing.

I am originally from New Orleans, Louisiana, but I have lived in Memphis for several years now and am proud to call Bluff City my home. As a labor and delivery nurse, I have found that parents are often shocked and overwhelmed by the intense sensations and emotions of childbirth. As a mother, I know that the experience of having and caring for a baby can be frightening and frustrating as much as it is joyful and inspiring.
